YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH'S (JESUS CHRIST'S) MESSAGE TO LEADERS OF THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH.
THIS MESSAGE WAS FIRST SENT OUT IN 2004 . AMENDED 2008
EXCERPT 24
CHANGES IN THE PATTERN OF WORSHIP IN THE SDA CHURCH!!
The SDA Church needs to change her pattern of worship from the weekly entertainment which it is often considered to be and make the services more meaningful. The following are some of the changes that should be made:
Let there be a time for prayer when the Church meets for worship because:
“My house shall be called a house of Prayer”. Matthew 21:13.
Therefore, let time be set aside for seasons of prayer. During such seasons, prayers can be made for the needs of those present and their loved ones; the forces of darkness can be bound; holy angels requested to take up their garrison. Prayer should also be prayed inviting the Ruach Ha Kodesh to be present, to take full charge of Services of the day, to manifest His power and to perform His signs and wonders in their midst.
During the Divine Service, the main prayer should be constructed and should not be prayed off the top of the head. It should contain praise, adoration and thanks to Us, their Elohim, followed by intercession. During this time of Intercession, prayer should be made for: monarchs and rulers and leaders of the world in accordance with Romans 13: 1-4; 1 Timothy 2: 1-4; the governments, parliaments, congresses, senates and all such houses; the countries and cities in which the members live and for their prosperity, peace and unity.
During the Prayer of Intercession, there should be a particular request for unity among the Christian churches and communities and the eradication of prejudice and segregation among Christians. Included in the prayer should be the cities, towns and villages in which those who are praying reside and also the areas in which their churches are located. There should also be supplication for the preaching and finishing of the Gospel; for Satan’s kingdom to fall and his power and hold over the people to be broken. There should be specific prayer for My Soon Return and for everyone to be ready for that greatest of all Events. Other matters can be included as the Ruach Ha Kodesh brings them to mind and for things which are current and need to be brought before Our attention.
Prayer should not be taken lightly. We, the Elohim of all worlds and their inhabitants, have given the earth to the children of men as their habitation and the legal right to be in it; while the Heaven of heavens is Our habitation, hence the Scripture:
“The heaven, even the heavens, are [YAHWEH’S] the LORD’S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men”. Psalm 115:16.
We, the Elohim of Heaven, do not interfere with what takes place in the earth but wait to be asked!! We have given charge into the hands of Our children, therefore to override them and take control would be meddling. That would give Satan the right to accuse Us of being inconsistent. Therefore, We always wait to be asked. Thus as soon as the requests from Our children come before Us in prayer, immediately those requests give us the permission and authority to take control and do whatever is requested. Thus the greater the number of people who pray and the more intensive the prayers, so also is Our Power and the help We give. It means therefore, if no prayers are offered, We are unable to help. Thus We will respond according to the prayers offered and also demonstrate Our supernatural power.
MAKING OPEN CONFESSION/ DECLARATIONS!!
There should be time in the service when passages of Scriptures are confessed aloud, followed by declarations spoken into the life. These are to rule out and cancel negative things in the life. Making such confessions and declarations will plant positive things in the minds of the worshippers. Those things confessed positively are then set in motion and begin to take place in the spiritual realm.
Confessing or speaking forth My Word, followed by their affirmation are very important because there is power in the spoken word. Thus there is life and death in the tongue and by the words spoken, one can be condemned or justified (Proverbs 18: 21; Matt. 12:37). Examples of confessing the Scriptures and personally affirming them are as follows:
Scripture:
“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light [Yahweh’s favour] shall shine upon thy ways”. Job 22: 28.
Affirmation:
Whatever I speak and declare will be established in my life and Yahweh’s favour will shine upon me.
Or:
Scripture:
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverb 18: 21.
Affirmation:
With Yahweh’s help I will only speak words of life with my tongue, I will speak words of life over my life and the lives of others.
KEEP ALIVE CERTAIN BIBLICAL MEMORIALS!!
Sermons should be carefully thought about and care should be taken concerning what is to be presented to the people. Certain Biblical Memorials should be included in the Church’s Calendar. These Memorials are to be kept alive before the congregations, just as the children of Israel were instructed to do concerning their history and My leadings in their lives (Duet 6: 4-10).
These Memorials include:
The Creation story; the Flood; Offering up of Isaac, the Deliverance of the Children of Israel and their Exodus from Egypt; the giving of My Laws and commandments on Mount Sinai, Pentecost, Purim, The Day of Atonement, Feasts of Harvest (Exodus 23:15,16); Stories of My life including My Birth, My Death, Resurrection and Ascension. At least four times per year My Second Coming should be brought to the attention of the worshippers.
These memorials should coincide with the time of year as they occurred. For example: at Easter time, My Suffering, Death and Resurrection should be brought before the people and emphasis made on My great love for them in leaving My throne of Heaven and coming to die for them.
Let there be no more dead sermons, or sermons glorifying the speakers, showing how eloquent, knowledgeable and learned they are. Let there be nothing of self but let the Name of Yahweh, the Father, the Ruach Ha Kodesh and Myself, Yahushua, be uplifted, magnified and exalted from the pulpits. No more must the pulpits be used to pull down, defame, condemn, slander and criticise other Christians in My body. Neither let it be used for anything that will not bring glory and honour to Us, the Elohim of Heaven and earth and all worlds.
THE SDA CHURCH SHOULD MINISTER TO THE NEEDS HER WORSHIPPERS!!
No one should go to church on a Sabbath and return as they went in. Almost everyone has a need or knows someone who needs prayer. Time, therefore, should be made in the services when the ministers take time to pray for the people. That includes praying for their healing and anointing them with oil in accordance with the Scriptures. Remember that you, the ministers, have nothing to do with answering the prayers offered. Your duty is to OBEY and do as you are commanded in Matthew 10: 1, 7, 8; Mark 16: 17, 18; James 5: 13-16. The result is left to Us, Yahweh, the Ruach Ha Kodesh and Me, Yahushua. In John 14: 12-14, I said:
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it”.
My Word has remained steadfast and has not changed; therefore, you have nothing to fear. As you obey, We will minister and meet the needs of the people. We cannot minister unless We are asked because We have given you the legal right to be here upon earth and to bring your requests to Us, the Elohim of all flesh. Although We live and dwell in Our children (John 14:23) the request must be made for Us to do what is required. That is why when I, Yahushua, was still upon earth, I gave the above instructions in John 14:12-14. I have also said:
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”. 2 Chronicles 7:14.
The SDA Church has not received because she has not asked. From now on I, Yahushua, expect to see great changes in the SDA Church. This will also bring about a greater increase in your numbers because many will attend just to see My power at work. During such times many will witness the awesome power of the Ruach Ha Kodesh as He heals and does His mighty miracles. This will convict and convince them and will cause many to be converted, whereby they will accept Me, Yahushua, as their Adonai (Lord) and Saviour.
Healing and Deliverance Services should also be conducted at the Camp Meetings. At those meetings, let there be time set aside for prayer sessions and for an infilling of the Ruach Ha Kodesh. Healing and Deliverance should also be a part of every evangelistic campaign bearing in mind the Commission I have given in Matthew 28:19, 20:
“All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen”.
PRAYER REQUEST BOX
In every church there should be a Prayer Request Box, into which the people can place their prayer requests. There should be intercessors appointed who, with their pastors, should pray over these requests so that We can meet the needs of Our children.
THE SDA CHURCH SHOULD ENCOURAGE THE READING AND STUDYING OF THE SACRED SCRIPTURES.
More of the Sacred Scriptures should be read in the services. Members should be encouraged on a regular basis to read and study My Holy Word. They need to feed their spiritual being and not just the physical alone. Thus My Word says:
“It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of [Yahweh] God”. Matthew 4: 4.
SPECIAL DAYS!!
There should be specific days set aside in the Church’s calendar when the needs of the various age groups are to be ministered to. Some are already in place but more should be added. Such days are:
TESTIMONY DAY: It should be reserved for the worshippers are allowed to give their testimonies, including Our goodness and mercy to them.
ELOHIM’S DAY: There are Sabbaths which should be set aside when the worshippers worship Us, their Elohim: Yahweh, their Father, the Ruach Ha Kodesh and Myself, Yahushua, alone. In that service let worshippers talk about Our love and goodness and extol Us in songs of praise and read the Scriptures and poems specifically dedicated to Us.
Other special days should be Children’s Day; Youth Day; Women’s Day; Father’s Day; Widows’ and Orphans’ Day; Senior Citizen’s Day and also a day for those who are unmarried.
On these special days, each group should be involved in the service which should be dedicated to them. Time should be made toward the end of the service when prayers should be prayed for them asking Us, their Elohim, to bless and prosper them.
