THE ANSWER TO THE GLOBAL CREDIT CRUNCH!!

Over the past two weeks the world has experienced a credit crunch that has never been witnessed before. First the USA implemented a $700bn bail-out of her banks with taxpayers' money in order to buy up debts which was potentially due to bad mortgage debts. That news sent shockwaves around the world, so that there has been a domino effect with many of the major and well established and reputable financial institutions around the world.

Here in the UK, the government has given £500bn to rescue her banking system. Many from the public sector and some from the private sector here in the UK and from other countries, invested much of their funds in Iceland, where the credit crunch has had a devastating effect. It is so serious that there is no guarantee that the UK investors will get back the large sums they have invested in Iceland.

Each day the credit crunch has been worsening as billions of currencies have been written off. In one report, there as been up to £250bn that have been wiped off Footsie stocks alone. The situation is now so serious that G7 Representatives have put forward a plan of action to the International Monetary Fund to resolve the global financial crisis.

Governments and peoples alike around the world, are very worried about the financial situation which will affect every strata of society, including institutions of learning, hospitals, local authorities, farmers and food supply. It will bring untold sufferings and hardships to people everywhere. Unless a suitable solution is found for the global financial problem, many will suffer from heart attacks from worry and many will commit suicide as a way out of the problem as they see their livelihoods, businesses, homes and financial security swept away. Thus the suffering will be untold, not just for the present but in the long term.

Governments are doing what they can to find solutions to this global financial earthquake (as some have called it) but they are having a difficult time because daily the financial crises worsens. This is due to the fact that governments (try as they may), do not have the solution, even though they are doing their utmost to resolve the crisis through their own wisdom and expertise.

The situation is so serious that on the Internet today (October 12, 2008), the IMF warns that we are on the brink of a global 'meltdown'. The report says:

“‘We are teetering on the brink of a systematic meltdown say the International Monetary Fund. Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the IMF chief, said "Intensifying solvency concerns about a number of the largest US-based and European financial institutions have pushed the global financial system to the brink of systemic meltdown’”. – Sky News.

This financial crisis is not just an ordinary matter, IT IS A SPIRITUAL MATTER!! Unfortunately, this is not recognised since the leaders of the nations are putting forward their own solutions to solve the crisis. There is however, an ELOHIM (GOD) WHO DOES NOT SLUMBER NOR SLEEP!! HE IS READY AND WAITING TO HELP THE NATIONS, IF THEY WILL COME TO HIM AND SEEK HIS HELP!!


That Elohim is YAHWEH, the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, the Elohim Who created the heavens and the earth and sustains it by His great and mighty power. HE alone has the answer to ALL THIS WORLD’S FINANCIAL AND OTHER PROBLEMS BUT HE HAS BEEN CAST ASIDE!! HIS SOLUTION IS:

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”. 2 Chronicles 7:14.

We are also given the assurance by YAHUSHUA (JESUS), the ONLY SAVIOUR of the world:

“And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father [Yahweh] may be glorified in the Son [Not a biological son, but the role He played in saving the human race]. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it”. John 14: 13,14.

The Elohim I serve, is a miracle working Elohim and One Who has the answer for ALL THIS WORLD’S PROBLEMS. In these verses of Scripture: 2 Chronicles 7:14 and John 14: 13,14, He gives the answers to the problems of this world. However, He is cast aside and rarely is He thought about, let alone consulted on any matter, although He is just ready and waiting to answer the cry of His people.

It is therefore time that those who are worshippers and followers of Yahushua Ha Mashiach, come together as one and seek His Help and intervention because HE ALONE HAS THE ANSWER TO THIS WORLD’S TROUBLES!! The assurance He gives to us, is:

“And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me”. Psalm 50:15.

Moreover, as we have already read, Yahushua says:

“If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it”. John 14: 13,14.

THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO CAST BLAME UPON ANYONE. IT IS TIME FOR THE BODY OF YAHUSHUA TO COME TOGETHER IN FASTING AND PRAYER AND SEEK HIS MERCY IN THIS DIRE SITUATION!!

Therefore, IT IS NOW TIME FOR THOSE WHO ARE OVER HIS BODY (the church of Yahushua) TO COME TOGETHER IN UNITY, as Yahushua (prayed in John 17) and heed the admonition given in 2 Chronicles 7:14:

"If MY PEOPLE, which are CALLED by my NAME, SHALL HUMBLE THEMSELVES, and PRAY, and SEEK my face, and TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS; then will I HEAR from heaven, and will FORGIVE their SIN, and will HEAL THEIR LAND ". (emphasis added).

Thus all that is required, is for the followers of Yahushua to pray to YAHWEH, the Father, in His Name and ask for this financial crisis to be healed! THE SPIRITUAL LEADERS OVER YAHUSHUA’S FLOCK HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO CALL THEIR CONGREGATIONS AND ORGANISE GLOBAL PRAYER MEETINGS AT THIS TIME!!

It is important, therefore, that all Roman Catholics and all Protestant believers in Yahushua, including Messianic and Arab believers, Baptists, Pentecostals, Anglicans, Seventh Day Adventists and Methodists; as well as the various Ministries, COME TOGETHER AS ONE BODY OF BELIEVERS AND FAST AND PRAY AND INTERCEDE BEFORE YAHWEH, IN THE NAME OF YAHUSHUA and beseech Him for HIS HELP IN BRINGING THIS CRISIS UNDER CONTROL AND THAT A LASTING SOLUTION WILL BE FOUND FOR THIS GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS AND ALL OTHER TROUBLES PLAGUING THIS WORLD!!

It is also important that prayer is made for the nations in order that they will see their need to accept Yahushua, as their Saviour and turn Him and receive His righteousness; wherein they will find peace, security and lasting happiness, which are found only in Him. Moreover, THIS IS YAHWEH’S TIME!! HE WANTS THEM TO REALISE THAT THESE HAPPENINGS ARE ALSO SIGNS OF THE END OF TIME. Thus Yahushua tells us in His Word about these signs:

“5And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh”. Luke 21:25-28.

These signs are all around us and Yahushua wants the THE NATIONS TO REALISE THAT THEIR SECURITY AND TRUST ARE NOT IN THEIR FINANCIAL WEALTH BUT IN HIM, THEIR TRUE AND RIGHTEOUS ELOHIM!! HE WANTS THEM TO SEE THAT THEIR TRUST IS ONLY IN HIM AND FOR THEM TO TURN TO HIM IN RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Yahushua wants them to know that for too long they have trusted in their riches and worldly possessions, which has caused them to reject Him. It was because of the uncertainty of riches, in which people put their trust, why He, Yahushua, warns us against putting our trust and confidence in the mammon, money. This is because it could disappear in a moment, just as it is happening in these days, and which has caused many to be very nervous and frightened, or whose lives have been destroyed as they see their wealth wiped out in moment. Concerning this matter of putting ones confidence in riches, when Yahushua was upon the earth, He said:

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also”. Matthew 6: 19 -21.

We are also admonished in Psalm 62:10:

“Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them”.

These admonitions are still applicable today. Had the followers of Yahushua read the signs around them and realised the seriousness of the times; and as a body of believers turned to Him for His help and intervention, this financial crisis would have been averted. However, there is still hope because Yahweh, Yahushua and the Ruach Ha Kodesh, are still in control and have an answer and a solution to this crisis. NOTHING TAKES THEM BY SURPRISE!!

Since the spiritual Leaders, who are followers of Yahushua have failed to act; Yahweh’s admonition to them and their flock, is found in Joel 2: 12-18:

12 Therefore also now, saith [Yahweh] the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the [Yahweh] Lord your [Elohim] God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.14 Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto [Yahweh] the Lord your God?

15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

17 Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O [Yahweh] Lord, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their [Elohim] God?

18 Then will [Yahweh] the Lord be jealous for his land, and pity his people.
19 Yea, the Lord will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith. Joel: 2: 12-18.

As one of Yahushua’s servants, I am calling upon all the spiritual Leaders who are over the flock of Yahushua, to open the doors of their churches and call their members, as well as everyone who sees the importance and need of prayer, TO COME TOGETHER WITHOUT DELAY AND TAKE TIME TO STUDY HIS WORD AND TO FAST AND PRAY OVER THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS and all other troubles that are prevalent in the world.

Praying together in groups of two or more (where possible) is important because Yahushua admonishes us:

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 18: 19, 20.

Thus as we pray in groups, we can come in agreement so that whatever we request will be done for us by Yahweh, our Father, as Yahushua told us.

Let us also pray in our homes and wherever we are, as often as we can. Remember that as followers of Yahushua we have the privilege to pray always. Therefore, we can pray wherever we are and whenever we want to do so. Let those who can meet in the early mornings and pray together, let them do so. Those who can meet in the lunch break (for those who have jobs) to pray, let them do so. And those who can meet in the evenings to pray, let them do so. Please remember that when we storm the throne of Heaven with our prayers, OUR LOVING AND GRACIOUS ELOHIM WILL NOT IGNORE OUR CRIES!!

THIS IS NOT THE TIME FOR THE BELIEVERS IN YAHUSHUA TO BE INDIFFERENT!! INDIFFERENCE TO THIS FINANCIAL SITUATION CAN LEAD TO OUR OWN DEMISE AND, BUT WHICH WE HAVE ENJOYED!!

I WOULD THEREFORE LIKE TO REMIND THOSE WHO ARE INDIFFERENT, SCEPTICAL OR PREJUDICED ABOUT MEETING WITH OTHERS WHO ARE IN THE BODY OF YAHUSHUA TO PRAY TOGETHER, THAT YAHUSHUA DID NOT BRING RELIGIONS, NOR DID HE SET UP DIFFERENT CHURCHES AND DENOMINATIONS WHEN HE CAME TO THIS WORLD!! HE CAME AND SET UP THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, THE KINGDOM OF GRACE!!

THAT KINGDOM OF GRACE WAS TO PREACH THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM, HEAL THE SICK, CLEANSE THE LEPERS, CAST OUT DEMONS AND RAISE THE DEAD (Matthew 10:7)!!
MOREOVER, THE INSTRUCTION YAHUSHUA GAVE TO HIS FOLLOWERS IS:

“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another”. John 13: 34, 35.

Without this LOVE of Yahushua for one another, and a spirit of unity to work together as believers in Yahushua, our Saviour (Who set us the perfect example); we will be very ineffective in our effort to bring about a permanent solution to the financial crisis which has gripped this world and which has an impact upon everyone.

Moreover, in Yahushua’s Kingdom of Glory and in the new earth which He will make for those who have accepted Him as their Saviour and Adonai (Lord); there will be no disunity, discord, prejudice or segregation among His children. Nor will there be divisions and separations, neither isolated units of people because ALL WHO WILL BE THE INHABITANTS OF HIS KINGDOM OF GLORY AND THE NEW EARTH, WILL LIVE TOGETHER IN PEACE AND UNITY.

It means Therefore, that ALL WHO DESIRE TO BE WITH YAHUSHUA IN HIS KINGDOM OF GLORY AND IN THE NEW EARTH, MUST PUT AWAY THEIR DIFFERENCES AND BEGIN TO INTEGRATE AND WORK TOGETHER HERE IN THIS WORLD!!

May each of us, therefore, who are called by the Name of Yahushua, realise our responsibility to do our part in finding the permanent solution to this global financial crisis. THAT PART WHICH WE HAVE TO PLAY, IS TO PRAY!! No one is exempted from this responsibility!! It includes the little children and the senior citizens also, as we come together and seek YAHWEH, in the Name of Yahushua, for His HELP because HE IS THE ONLY ANSWER TO THE DILEMAS IN THIS WORLD!!!

Yahweh has always heard the prayers of His people and given them deliverance from their troubles. In these times He will do the same, if we will heed His admonition and seek His face in prayer, and through the Ruach Ha Kodesh, our Elohim here upon earth, HE WILL HEAL OUR LANDS FROM THIS GRAVE FINANCIAL CRISIS.

MY APPEAL TO YOU AT THIS TIME IS:

LET US COME BEFORE YAHWEH, OUR MAKER AND CAST OUR CARES UPON HIM IN PRAYER, FOR HE CARES FOR US AND WILL ANSWER US (1 Peter 5: 7).
