MAN_A TRIPARTITE BEING_ SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY!!_ 9

OUR BODIES ARE ONLY MADE FOR THIS WORLD!!

Due to sin, our bodies are given to us to live in this world and they are all subject to death, decay and corruption (1 Corinthians 15: 50). Therefore, in our natural, mortal state our bodies cannot go to heaven to be with our Saviour or to spend eternity with Him.  Instead, they must return to the dust (depending on the method of disposal). Neither will they stand in the final judgment, for those who will be in that judgment. 

For those who are redeemed by the blood of Yahushua, at His return to this world, those who died in Him, will be resurrected and given new immortal and incorruptible bodies. Into each body Elohim will place their individual spirits (spirit and souls) which were with Him in Heaven.

At the resurrection of the righteous, they will once again be fully tripartite beings of spirit, soul and body.  Their new bodies will be glorified, immortal and incorruptible bodies which will never die again and be separated from their spirit beings. 

For the redeemed who are alive at the return of Elohim Yahushua Ha Mashiach, their bodies will also be changed into immortal and incorruptible bodies like unto the glorified bodies of Yahushua which will no longer be subject to death (1 Corinthians 15:51-54). 

At the return of Yahushua for His faithful children, He will take both the resurrected and the living to Heaven, His throne, where they will spend one thousand years with Him 

As Revelation 20:4,6 tells us:

“…they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

This is the first resurrection… ⁶ Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years”.

FATE OF THOSE WHO HAVE REJECTED YAHUSHUA

Sadly, for those who have rejected Yahushua’s love, grace and sacrifice for them, they will be resurrected a thousand years later after King Yahushua has returned for His redeemed children. Concerning this we read in Revelation 20: 5:

“But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished”.

Their resurrection, however,  will be only for a short time so that they can be in the final judgment to give an account of the lives they were blessed with.  Unlike the redeemed, they will not be resurrected in glorified immortal bodies. (Revelation 20: 7).

At their resurrection, their individual spirits and souls which were in torment will again be placed in their bodies to make them fully tripartite beings. The records of their lives (the videos) which were recorded in the books of heaven while they were alive in this world, will be brought to their attention.

Each one in that final judgment will then be judged from the things which are recorded in those books. At that time every person will have to give an account to Elohim Yahweh, Why they are in that  final Judgment and Why they rejected Yahushua, who died to give them eternal life and to save them from that fiery judgment.

No one in that final judgment, in spite of how penitent they are then, will be able to repent of their sins or find forgiveness. It will be the time for their reward along with Satan who deceived them. In those bodies in which they were resurrected, they will ALL be judged and receive their reward in the everlasting lake of  fire and brimstone which has been prepared for Satan and his angels (Revelation 20: 11-15; Matthew 25:41).

THE RUACH HA KODESH, OUR HELPER!!

Once our spirit is “born again” and the soul is “converted” to Yahushua Ha Mashiach by the power of the Ruach Ha Kodesh, He is able to have  free access to our entire being: spirit, soul and body through our spirit man. 

The Ruach Ha Kodesh can then guide and direct us who are “born again” and “converted”, in the ways of Yahushua.  He will  also be able to intercede before the Father on our behalf, as we are told in Romans 8: 26,27:

“Likewise the Spirit [the Ruach Ha Kodesh]  also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

²⁷ And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of [Elohim] God”.

Once this channel of communication is opened to the Ruach Ha Kodesh, He will help us to have a close relationship with Yahweh our Father and Yahushua our Saviour.

It is important, therefore, that   once we have given our lives to Yahushua, we allow the Ruach Ha Kodesh to continue to be in control of our spirit-beings, i.e. spirit and soul, as well as our bodies.  As we feed our physical bodies, we should also daily feed our spirit being (spirit and soul) with the Word  of our Elohim, prayer and  worship, as well as fellow-shipping with others in the body of Yahushua. That is the reason Paul admonishes us in Ephesians 5: 18-20, that we should:

“…be filled with the Spirit [the Ruach Ha Kodesh]; ¹⁹ speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; ²⁰ giving thanks always for all things unto [Elohim] God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ [Adonai Yahushua Ha Mashiach]”.

Paul also admonishes us in Hebrews 10: 25: 

 “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching”.

CHILDREN OF ELOHIM_AWAITING KING YAHUSHUA’S RETURN!!

In order to nourish our spirit being we must have  personal relationship with Yahushua we and  fully  surrender our lives to our Elohim.  Therefore, we have to allow the Ruach Ha Kodesh to have free access in our daily lives. As we do we will have the assurance that we are children of Elohim,  as Romans 8:16, tells us:

“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of [Elohim] God”.

This is what every follower of Yahushua should strive to be: children of Elohim, as by His grace we await His  return to this world for His children.  Faithful children  who have accepted Him as their personal Saviour and given Him first place in their lives. Children, who though they live in this world beset by great trials and troubles, will remain faithful to their Saviour until death, with the assurance that they will receive a crown of life (Revelation 2:10).

We are not just bodies as Satan would like us to believe in order that he can destroy us.  We are more than the bodies we live in.  We are first made in the image of Elohim and given bodies, His gifts to us. The apostle Paul knew the importance of our tripartite beings and therefore he admonishes the followers of Yahushua in

1 Thessalonians 5:23:

“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ [Adonai Yahushua Ha Mashiach]”.

By the grace of Yahushua, our Saviour, let us endeavour each day to heed the admonition of Paul, so that like him,  we can be found blameless at all times. This is very important as we await the return of Yahushua our coming King. We should also endeavour to be blameless before our Elohim because we could die and leave  this world at anytime.  Therefore, at all times we should be in a state of readiness to go and be with Yahushua Ha Mashiach in His kingdom of glory.

                        THE BODY!!

Cruden’s Concordance, Page 49 describes the body as “The physical part of man as distinct from the spiritual. 1 Samuel 31:4; Matthew 6: 22”.

The body is the physical, material part of a person,  consisting of bones, muscles, blood, ligaments, nerves, glands, brain, heart, lungs, kidneys, bladder, stomach, liver, intestines, reproductive organs, eyes, ears, mouth, arms and legs  and so much more which  Yahweh, in His infinite wisdom, placed in our mortal bodies. 

The body is the physical part of our being, which Yahweh formed and fashioned from the ground and made into the man Adam, or earth man. He then breathed into man the breath of life, so that man could become a living soul  (Genesis 2:7) or a living person. 

Of all the other beings Yahweh made, man is the only one made in His  spiritual image and given a physical body, Yahweh's special gift to each of us in this world.

Likewise, man is only one of Yahweh’s creation, of whom it is said: “fearfully  and wonderfully” made (Psalm 139:14).   Into that body, He placed  the spirit and the soul to complete the man, Adam and also Eve, Adam’s wife.  They were our first parents from whom descended the entire human race.   

Yahweh made man an intelligent being and gave him the power to choose good or evil.  He made him with  a mind,  brain and emotions so that he could  think, act and make wise and intelligent  decisions, including worshiping Him as the Creator.

The physical body is a very important part of our tripartite being.  Without it, we could not be in this world and enjoy the things our Elohim has made for us. It is unique to each person and must be cared for, nourished and fed with nourishing foods and liquids, exercised and supplied with adequate fresh air, in order that it may be healthy and serve us well in this life.

Each of us grew from a tiny egg and spermatozoa which were invisible to the naked eye.

From the time of conception we began to draw what we needed from our mothers so that our bodies which were being formed could grow healthy and well. Over a period of approximately forty weeks we were in the wombs of our mothers, where our bodies grew until we were ready to live independently outside the  womb. After our births we continued to grow to the stage we are at present.

For those of us who have fully grown, we must still feed and nourish and take care of our bodies, the earthly houses for our spirit beings. Failure to nourish and adequately care for our bodies will shorten our lives in this world. 

Our bodies are Yahweh's gifts to us in this world. It is the physical part of our tripartite being which enables us  to enjoy the things of our Elohim in this world, do and achieve small or great things and fulfil the purposes for which we were brought into the world.  Our bodies are  the vehicles of our spirit-being  and soul-being.

In this life our bodies are very important to us because they are our earthly houses and give us the legal right to be in this world.  Without our physical bodies, we would be spirit beings and there would have been no need for Yahweh to create this wonderful and beautiful world. He created this world for the habitation of the human race, as we read in  Psalms 115:16:

“The heaven, even the heavens, are [YAHWEH's ] the LORD's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men”.

We have further confirmation of this in Isaiah 45:18:

`“For thus saith [YAHWEH] the LORD that created the heavens; [Elohim] God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited”. 

It is for this reason, Yahweh gave the command in Genesis 1: 28:

“Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth”.

                 

While we are in this world, our bodies dictate to us our needs. Thus when we are hungry a message is sent from the brain to the stomach informing us that nourishment is needed for the body.

If our bodies need to be rid of the waste products, the appropriate  message is sent to the organs of elimination.  Likewise, the body needs rest so that it can repair itself, and in the case of babies and children,  sleep is needed for growth. Therefore, if we are tired they demand sleep. If we are cold, the message comes for extra warmth, or if we are hot, the message is sent to cool the body.  The body reacts accordingly and sends out the necessary message when in pain or suffering ailments, so that the  condition can be dealt with. Thus while we are alive, the body is constantly functioning internally and externally.

Our bodies are Elohim’s gifts to us and are  “fearfully” and “wonderfully” made (Psalm 139: 14). The greatest invention of men, including the  most sophisticated computers cannot put together or make a living limb or organ in the body. Men have made replicas of the various parts of the body but not living ones.  Due to advancement of science and technology they are able to  repair the organs, etc. when it is necessary to do so, including the growing of tissue cells from live cells for various reasons.

 

In Job 10: 11, 12, Job  gives a good definition about the body. He wrote: 

“Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.  Thou hast granted me life and favour”.

Due to the sin nature with which every person born in this world, the body responds according to the cause or need including joy and laughter. It also feels pain and sorrow is expressed.  Due to that same sin nature, our bodies get sick, old, deteriorate and die. Death to the body could come at anytime, from as early as in the womb in the form of abortion or still birth.  After birth death is sure and could occur at anytime up to very old age.

DESIRES AND CRAVINGS OF THE BODY!!

Due to  the physical natures of our bodies they often create strong desires and cravings which are not always brought under control. The desires and cravings of the body can be so great that it dominates the rest of the being, thereby  satisfying its various appetites. 

This is especially so if there are addictions to which it has become a slave.  The cravings of the body without  the  control of the Ruach Ha Kodesh, will always override or overpower the spirit and the soul.  That is the reason the apostle  Paul says in  Romans 7: 21-24: 

“I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of [Yahweh] God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death”.

The apostle Peter, knowing the constant conflict between the body and the soul admonished:

“Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul”. 1 Peter 2:11.

Because of the nature of the body, we should daily beseech to the Ruach Ha Kodesh, Who is our Elohim here upon earth, to help us to bring our bodies under His divine control. That is what  the apostle Paul did and made him to write:  

“But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway”.  1 Corinthians 9:27.

It must also be noted that the physical body without the spirit and the soul, is only a third of man and cannot function as a normal intelligent being.  As humans, Yahweh blessed us with  physical bodies,  unlike angels who are spirit beings and who do not possess physical bodies, as we do. 

As human-beings we are very unique in Yahweh’s creation and were specially made  by Him.  There is no other in this world, or other worlds,  like us whom our loving Elohim has so “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). 

OUR BODIES ARE MORTAL AND CORRUPTIBLE!!

Our bodies were meant to be immortal and incorruptible because death was NOT in Yahweh’s plan for His children. Sadly, Adam and his wife, Eve (our first parents), sinned and changed that privilege. Their sin caused  all their descendants to be born in sin and shaped in iniquity (Psalm 51: 5). 

Our time upon earth in our physical bodies is very limited because our  bodies are temporary and are given to us only in this life. Due to our sinful natures, decay and death set in and limit  the time we are in this world.  David said that our days are approximately 70 years (Psalm 90: 10), though Elohim tells us in Genesis 6:3:

“My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years”. 

Today the  life span of  man is drastically reduced from the 120 years which our Elohim has given; due to sicknesses, diseases, accidents, disasters, murders, old age, etc.

Our bodies are meant to be the Yahweh’s temples, in which the Ruach Ha Kodesh lives and does His work through us:   It is for this reason the apostle Paul admonishes the followers of Yahushua:

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of [Elohim] God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto [Yahushua] God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of [Yahweh] God”. Romans 12:1,2.

Paul also wrote in  Romans 3: 16,17:

  

“Know ye not that ye are the temple of [Elohim] God, and that the Spirit of [Yahweh] God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God [Yahweh], him shall [Yahweh] God destroy; for the temple of [Yahweh] God is holy, which temple ye are”.

In addition king Solomon tells us in Ecclesiastes 11: 10:

“Put away evil from thy flesh”.

Our Elohim had a plan in making us human beings with physical bodies, unlike the angels who are fully spirit.  Therefore, we should love our bodies and take good care of them.  This will enable us be in good health, enjoy the  gift of life and live our   allotted time and fulfil the purpose for which we were born into this world.

LETTER TO PASTOR VICTOR HULBERT_SDA COMMUNICATION SECRETARY RE: INTERVIEW WITH REVELATION TV ON THE TOPIC OF THE SPIRIT OF MAN

Dear Pastor Hulbert

Re:  Your Interviews with Doug Harris_ Revelation TV.

Greetings in the name of Yahushua Ha Mashiach, our loving Saviour.

I watched some of your interviews with   Doug Harris and I have decided to write to you after yesterday’s (Sabbath, December 15) showing.   The Ruach Ha Kodesh, the Holy Spirit, has laid it upon my heart to write to you and in obedience I am doing so, though reluctantly. I am fully aware that what I write may be disregarded as were the messages the Ruach Ha Kodesh gave me for the Church in the past.  I also know the stance of the SDA Church: “WE HAVE THE TRUTH AND NO ONE CAN TEACH US ANYTHING”!!

I am writing on the section where Doug asked you about, what happens to the spirit when one dies? In reply you spoke about the death of the body itself and about the “breath” leaving it  and returning to Elohim (God). I did not hear you speaking about the   “Spirit” (spirit and soul, the true person which never dies). He tried many times to bring you back to the subject but you could not give him the answer which I knew he wanted.  I know the teachings of the SDA Church on that subject.  However, I would respectfully point out that a person is MORE THAN JUST THE BODY + THE BREATH, which makes him a living soul.  While THE BODY WITHOUT THE BREATH EQUALS A DEAD SOUL.  That however, would make man just A SINGLE BEING instead of a TRI-PARTITE BEING.

Due to some of the Beliefs and Teachings of the SDA Church, many regard the Church as an EXCLUSIVE, DECEIVED AND CULTIC ORGANISATION.  This pains me because it is the Church to which I belonged for most of my life.  I would still be a member if the  Ruach Ha Kodesh had not taught me and given me His work to do.  (This is not arrogance or egotism on my behalf).  

Pastor Hulbert, I do not want to take too much of your time but I would like to address the matter of the SPIRIT (as I am instructed by the Ruach Ha Kodesh) which Doug was referring to.  That SPIRIT (spirit and soul) is the TRUE person, not the BREATH OF LIFE which comes in at birth and returns to Elohim at death.  Please look up both spirit and soul in the Dictionaries and Concordances.  I used the following for reference when I was studying the subject:

The Cruden’s Complete Concordance, Encyclopaedia Britannica, Virtue’s English Dictionary and The Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary.

Pastor Hulbert if I may, and if you will allow me,  I will try and explain briefly about the SPIRIT  which never dies and which Doug kept referring to in his interview. The Ruach Ha Kodesh taught me many things and I am writing from what He taught me and gave me to teach.

   

MAN A TRI-PARTITE BEING!!

As human beings, we are TRI-PARTITE BEINGS (1 Thess 5: 23) unlike the animals which are bi-partite beings.  We are first “spirit” and “soul” (the “spirit” part of our being) and we live in a “body, our earthly “tabernacle” or house (2 Corinthians 5: 1-9) which is  the temple of the Ruach Ha Kodesh (1 Cor. 6:19). At conception Yahweh sent our spirits (spirit and soul, which never die) from Heaven. From the moment of our conception, Yahweh began to fashion our bodies to house our spirits, our true persons. Our spirits remained active while our bodies were being made in our mothers’ wombs until they were mature enough for us to be born into this world. They remain in our bodies, being the true persons we are, until the day we die. Only then do our spirits vacate our bodies. The spirits of those unborn babies who were aborted for one reason or another, also return to Heaven to our Elohim because OUR SPIRITS NEVER DIE.

While we were in the womb growing, we were very much alive but we did not breathe because our lungs were solid. We were kept alive and nourished through the umbilical cords attached to the placentas of our mother’s wombs.  At birth when we came out of the womb, we cried and at that time we took our first breath, which opened up our lungs. From that moment the spirit of life or the breath, took over and continues to give us life until the time when take our last breath and die. At that point our breath will return to Elohim who gave it (as it is for those who have died).  The breath of life (Genesis 2: 7) in us, however, is NOT our TRUE person, the SPIRIT.  It is only the Physiological function, the Respiration (one inspiration +one expiration which gives Oxygen to the blood and removes  Carbon Dioxide from the blood) which keeps us alive throughout our lifetime in this world.

The BREATH OF LIFE is totally separate from  THE SPIRIT AND SOUL, OUR  TRUE PERSONS, which Paul talks about in 2 Corinthians 5: 6-9,  and which Peter also refers to  in 2 Peter 1:13,14.  Paul says:

“Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord”. 2 Corinthians 5: 6-9.

Paul also tells us in  Thess. 5: 23:

“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ”.

Here, it is clearly stated that we are first spirit beings: spirit and soul and we live in a body (created in our mothers’ wombs). The spirit (spirit and soul) is the “image” and “likeness” of Yahweh, which He made us in (Genesis 1:26, 27).  We must understand that Elohim (God) is a “Spirit” Being, as Yahushua tells us in John 4: 24.  Elohim is still a Spirit Being, except for Yahushua who has retained His humanity, after He came and died for our spirit beings.  

The spirit (spirit and soul) NOT THE BREATH OF LIFE, which Doug was referring to and pointed out to you in John 11: 25, 26, and also in 2 Corinthians 5: 6-9, is the part of our being which NEVER DIES!!  It is also the part of the being which Yahushua told us about in Luke 16: 19-31. Likewise, it is also the part of the being John wrote about in Revelation 6: 9-11 concerning the souls of the martyrs who are in Heaven, crying under the Altar.  It is the part of our being for which Yahushua came and died to save us from HELL when we die and from the Lake of fire and brimstone in the final Judgment (Revelation 20). Please understand that Yahushua did not come and die for our sinful mortal bodies. He died for our spirit beings (spirit and soul).

Our spirit being (spirit and soul), is our  true persons  which inhabits our bodies and the part of our beings which controls our minds, our intellects, our wills and our emotions. It is the part of our beings which gives instructions to our bodies to carry out its dictates, good or bad.  The SPIRIT part of our beings is the part of us that MUST BE BORN AGAIN of the Ruach Ha Kodesh (John 3: 3-5). The SOUL is part of our beings which MUST BE CONVERTED (Psalm 19:7, Acts 3: 19). IT IS NOT OUR BODIES WHICH MUST BE BORN AGAIN, OR BE CONVERTED.

 It is the spirit part of us with which Elohim communicates and the part to which He speaks to us in dreams and visions (Job 14: 13-17).  It is also the part of our being which goes about and does things while our bodies are asleep and which we recognise as dreams when we wake up.

Our physical bodies, the houses of our spirits and our souls, are very, very important.  They  give us the legal right to be in this world and to do what our Elohim sent us to this world to do for Him.  At death that legal right is taken away and then we  (our spirits: spirits and souls) MUST  leave this world. At death,  our spirits (which are very much alive)  will go to one of two places as Yahushua clearly tells us  in Luke 16:1-31 about the rich man and the beggar, Lazarus. (This account in Luke 16: 19-31 is NOT a parable, but a TRUE ACCOUNT of what happens at death.) For those who have accepted Yahushua as their personal Saviour from sin, their spirits (spirit and soul) go to Heaven when they die.  Those, however, who rejected Yahushua, their spirits go to Hell, which is a REAL PLACE.

At death, the body (which was born in sin and shaped in iniquity) is no longer required.  It then returns to its dust and knows nothing (Psalm 146: 4, Job 14: 21).  The situation is totally different for the spirit which continues to live on because it never dies, as I have already stated.

Pastor Hulbert you remarked to Doug that if the spirit is already in Heaven, why should they come back to this world to reconnect with the body when Yahushua returns.  If you will permit me, I will try and explain this.  May I therefore,  respectfully point out, as Doug was trying to do, that due to the sin nature in us, our present bodies cannot go to Heaven because they are subject to death (1 Cor 15: 50).

At death the spirit (spirit and soul) which does not die leaves the body, its old house in this world.  It has to leave then because without a physical, earthly body, it is an incomplete being and has no legal rights any more in this world.  When the spirit (spirit and soul) leaves the body at death, it becomes a bi-partite being but it is still VERY MUCH ALIVE. Therefore, at death when it leaves the body it goes to one of two places: HEAVEN, for the righteous and HELL, for those who have rejected Yahushua as Saviour and Lord (Luke 16: 19-31; (2 Corinthians 5: 1-9).

In Heaven the righteous is then clothed in a heavenly body (I Corinthians 5: 1-3), while in Hell the spirit is in great torment.  (By now you may be getting very angry with what I am saying because it is totally against the beliefs and teachings of the SDA Church, which teaches soul sleep when the body dies.  Please be patient and read to the end where you may  see what others who have been resurrected are saying.)

Please understand that when we were created, we were made tri-partite beings and when our spirits i.e. those who are saved go to Heaven, they are only bi-partite beings closed in heavenly bodies.   They are therefore incomplete beings.  At the return of Yahushua for ALL His followers, He will bring back the spirits of those who have died and are with Him in Heaven.  He will resurrect and  re-create their bodies (whether in the graves, the elements, etc.) and re-unite their individual spirits, their true persons  with their new immortal and glorified bodies (1Thess 4: 16,17; 1 Corinthians 15: 50-54).  Only then will those who are saved be spirit, soul and body, fully tri-partite beings in glorified, immortal bodies as Elohim  intended when He first created Adam and Eve.

At Yahushua’s return, as you know, He will change the mortal and corruptible bodies of His  living children into  immortal, glorified bodies (1 Corinthians 15: 50-54).  He will then take ALL His redeemed, both the resurrected and the living, children to Heaven for the thousand years (Revelation 20: 6). At that time all those who are alive at the return of Yahushua but who rejected Him, they will die and their spirits will go to Hell and join those who are already there because the true spirit of man never dies (Luke 16: 19-31). 

The purpose of Yahushua returning to this  world IS TO TAKE ALL HIS CHILDREN TO HEAVEN, BOTH THOSE WHO HAVE DIED IN HIM AND THOSE WHO ARE ALIVE AT HIS RETURN.  The full plan of redemption will then be completed and He will “see the travail of His soul and be satisfied” (Isa. 53: 11).  His sacrifice for our sins will then be WORTH IT ALL, as He will live and dwell with us. First we will be with Him in Heaven for one thousand years,  followed by the  new earth; where sin will never again raise its ugly head  and where there will be no more suffering or sad partings in death (Revelation 21 and  22).

Pastor Hulbert, as you know, at the return of Yahushua to this world, the earth will be desolate, except for Satan and his demons. The final judgment follows a thousand years later when Yahushua will return to this world and resurrect ALL the dead whose spirits are in Hell.  He will  re-unite  their spirits with their bodies, so that they stand before Him in that final judgment and  give an account to Him of their lives in this world and their reason for rejecting His love and sacrifice for them.  They will then receive their reward (along with Satan who deceived them), in the lake of fire and brimstone, where their spirits will be tormented forever because the spirit does not die (Revelation 20:10).

The matter of the spirit of man, NOT the breath, can be a complex subject for those who do not understand about the true spirit of man.  However, the Ruach Ha Kodesh is here to teach us all we need to know about Yahweh's Word, including this subject on the spirit and soul of mankind.  

There are many people who have been resurrected from the dead and millions who have had Near Death Experiences (NDE), including one of my late uncles, who told me about his experience after he had his first heart attack and died. Many of them have told and are telling their experiences (including children who died) about what they experienced after they died and left their mortal bodies.  I will give a few of the websites, so that you can hear what they are saying. 

Pastor Hulbert, it is my prayer that you  (who speak on behalf of the SDA Church, and the church on a whole),  will have a better understanding about what really happens after the body dies. It is my prayer also that the Church will begin to re-examine some of its doctrines and teachings of the 19^th century and with the help of the Ruach Ha Kodesh make changes where necessary. I believe this is important because an ex-SDA I am fully aware of the teachings of the church and understand why other Christians who are opposed to the SDA Church, regard it as an EXCLUSIVE and  CULTIC ORGANISATION!! This is the reason some of them have written to Doug and questioned the appropriateness  of the SDA Church being on the Revelation TV.

May our Elohim: Yahweh, our Father, Yahushua Ha Mashiach, Jesus Christ and the Ruach Ha Kodesh, the Holy Spirit bless you  and continue to use you as you faithfully minister for Him.

2013_ A BLESSED NEW YEAR!!

All too soon the old Year 2012 has passed into history and cannot be recalled except for the memories. It has been a special and memorable one, a year when the world experienced unprecedented disasters, including Hurricane Sandy; saw the greatest Olympic and Paralympic Games here in the UK; Palestine voted in as a non-member state by the UN; the devastating  civil war in Syria, accompanied by the plight of the  refugees who fled the war zones; massacres including that of little children in the USA;  the severe persecution and martyrdom   of Christians in many lands, including parts of Nigeria and the continued global economic crises, including Greece,  to name a few of the happenings in 2012.   

The New Year, 2013 has arrived and we give thanks to our loving Elohim for His mercies, His protection  and His grace and for sparing our lives to see this New Year. Sadly, many both young and old alike who thought they would be alive to see it, were not privileged to do so because their lives were taken due to illnesses, wars, disasters, massacres, etc.

We are now in the early days of the Year 2013 A.D. Many in the this world view 2013 with trepidation because of what they are experiencing and what they perceive is happening in the world.  This is especially so with the grave financial situations in many lands, including the USA, the mightiest of nations, of which it is said: “When Washington, the capital, sneezes, the rest of the world gets a cold”.

The disasters have begun with the severe bush fires in parts of south eastern Australia,  while  some countries are experiencing tornadoes, floods, storms, typhoons, cyclones, earthquakes and severe weather conditions including heavy snow and ice storms. Human misery  in many lands is great. This is especially so for the refugees who have fled the fighting in Syria and those suffering because of the great disasters. The massacre of Christians in Nigeria and certain other countries has continued and so have wars, piracy on the high seas, hostage takings and assassinations.

Indeed, we are living in very serious times and the outlook for many is frightening.  This is especially so as many established firms and companies close down and many continue to lose  their jobs or are made redundant. The downward financial spiral, over which there is little or no control, adds to the fear as conditions in the world worsen.

The terrible disasters in many lands, especially the severe floods, are affecting the food baskets around the world and many are suffering from  hunger and lack of clean water.  Inflation is at such a high level that many in west are unable to purchase enough food to feed themselves and their  families.  Many have to depend upon handouts to meet their basic needs. 

Global warming has caused the glaciers and ice Bergs to melt and along with the heavy rains the rivers and seas are taking over the land in some countries.  The wild animals are also suffering as they lose their natural habitats and likewise domestic animals as disasters strike.  The list of the woes are endless.  We are in 2013, and it would bring  comfort and assurance to the peoples of this world if the sufferings they are experiencing, due to the great calamities, etc, would all come to an end. 

Sadly, there is   no such assurance because these are the happenings which we read in the Holy  Scriptures would precede Yahushua’s return to this world for His children who have accepted Him as their personal Saviour from sin and death. Concerning these end-time happenings, Yahushua Ha Mashiach says:

Matthew 24: 4-14

“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come”.

Luke 21: 8-11

“8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. 9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. 10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: 11 and great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.”

Luke 21: 25-28

”25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Son of man[King Yahushua]  coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

The apostle Paul also wrote in  2 Timothy 3: 1-5:

“1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof”.

These are some of the signs prophesied in the Scriptures which would be at the end of the Age prior to the return of Yahushua. There is however one passage in the Scriptures which is pertinent to His return to this planet.  It is found in Luke 21:24.  It reads:

           “…and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled”.

For almost 2000 years Jerusalem was under the rule of Gentile Nations until 1967 when Elohim Yahweh, the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, returned it to the Jews during the Six Day War. Since that time many wars have been fought between the Arabs and the Jews to retake Jerusalem. There have been many summits and the drawing up of road maps for it and other lands to be given up.  However the old city Jerusalem is unlike any other city in this world.  It is the city our Elohim came as His own and which Matthew 5: 35 calls “the city of the great King  (Elohim Yahweh)”.

The battle  is still on for Jerusalem to be returned to Gentile rule as the Capital of the Palestinian state. The pressure is being exerted by the United Nations for it to return to Gentile rule.  The “Arab Spring” has brought the downfall of many Arab leaders, including Egypt which is now under the rule of the Muslim Brotherhood and an enemy of Israel.   The civil war wages in Syria and once it falls all sights will be on Israel to remove it from the map, as the leader of Iran has said.  The threat cannot be ignored, nor taken lightly because of the following statements:

“FIRST WE TAKE DAMASCUS, THEN TEL AVIV: The leader of the radical Salafist movement in Jordan, whose organization actively supports the Syrian rebels' efforts to topple President Bashar Assad's regime this week warned that once the Damascus opposition achieves its primary goal, it will set its sights on Israel. Abed Shihadeh, the group's leader said, "We tell Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister to get ready. The army of the Prophet Mohammad is coming your way." Shihadeh added: "Those carrying explosives in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan will find you. The next fight is between us and you." The jihadist leader pledged to take over Damascus and then head to Tel Aviv. “As far as we are concerned, Palestine stretches from river to sea, from Rafah to a-Nakura. We will not rest until Palestine is liberated."’ (Ynet) 

“SYRIAN GENERALS ORDERED TO ATTACK ISRAEL IF ASSAD FALLS: Syrian dictator Bashar Assad has ordered his military chiefs to launch ballistic missiles at Israel if he is killed by rebel forces, according to sources in Damascus cited by Israeli media this week. The online newspaper Inyan Merkazi reported Assad met with his top generals recently to express concerns he could be taken out by advanced US missiles recently provided to rebel forces, or by a mob similar to the one that violently murdered former Libyan dictator Muamar Gaddafi. Should either of those scenarios become reality, Assad reportedly told the generals to unleash Syria's considerable missile arsenal on Israel and Egypt. Syria is officially in a state of war with Israel and hosts numerous terror groups dedicated to the Jewish state's demise. Assad is angry with Egypt due to the new Muslim Brotherhood-controlled government's support for Syrian rebel groups, many of which are fellow Islamists. Last year Assad warned if his rule were truly threatened, he would ignite the powder keg that is the Middle East. That threat remains a very real concern”. (Israel Today).

Those opposed to Israel are determined to remove her from off the earth, so that all the lands of the Middle East will be under Islamic rule.  The question is:  Will Elohim Yahweh allow Jerusalem to go back under Gentile rule?  Will He allow the state of Israel to be wiped off the earth? We will see what is written in His Word about the matter.  Concerning Israel and the Israelis , it is prophesied in Jeremiah 31: 35-37:

“35 Thus saith [Yahweh] the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord [Yahweh] of hosts is his name: 36 if those ordinances depart from before me, saith the Lord [Yahweh], then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. 37  Thus saith the Lord [Yahweh]; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the Lord [Yahweh]”.

The plan is to wipe Israel from off the map and  have a united Middle East. However, The demise of Israel as a nation, spells the demise for the world. That is not the plan of our Elohim for Israel because He keeps Israel and does not slumber nor sleep (Psalm 12: 3-8).  Therefore, in light of the preceding  Scriptures and quotes, Yahushua could return for His children  at anytime, therefore His admonition to us in Matthew 24: 44, is:

“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man [King Yahushua Ha Mashiach] cometh”.

The Question is: Will Yahushua return in 2013 for His children and put this earth to rest?  The answer is unknown because no one knows the day nor the hour when King Yahushua will return and fulfil His Promise in John 14: 1-3, which says:

“1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know”.

Yahushua is sure to return and will return to this world for His children.  At that time He will  put this earth to  rest, so that she will enjoy her Sabbaths.  However, we do not know when that time will be. Therefore, it is important that we heed Yahushua’s admonition in Matthew 24: 44:

“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man [King Yahushua Ha Mashiach] cometh”.

By the grace of our Elohim let us heed the admonition and be in a state of readiness to meet King Yahushua, or to go to be with Him should we die before His return.

I pray that Elohim Yahweh, our Father, Yahushua Ha Mashiach our Saviour and the Ruach Ha Kodesh will be with you, keep you in His care and richly bless you during 2013.
