YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH, THE SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD!!

A CHRISTMAS MESSAGE!!

Once again it is the time of year when as followers of Yahushua Ha Mashiach (Jesus Christ), we celebrate His Birth and First Coming to this world. It is also the time of cheer and good will,  joy and happiness  because Yahushua the Elohim of love is the “Reason for the Season”. 

This wonderful time of year is to keep before us that indeed our Creator and Redeemer, Yahushua Ha Mashiach (Jesus Christ) came to this world in human flesh.

Although His actual date of Birth was not on December 25,  each year it is a constant reminder that He, the King of Glory, came to this world on a Mission.  That Mission was rescue mankind from the Adversary Satan,  and  save them from the torments of hell, when they die and from the lake of fire and brimstone in the final judgment ahead of this world. Most importantly to give those who would accept Him as their Saviour and Adonai, a home with Him in Heaven and then to live and dwell with them when He creates the New Heaven and the New Earth.

ELOHIM’S FOREKNOWLEDGE OF SIN AND PLAN TO REDEEM!!

  

Before our Elohim created this world, being omnipotent, He knew that the Man and  the Woman whom He would create WOULD SIN, and so would their descendants. He knew also that SIN would result in  DEATH, which is the wages of sin (Romans 6: 23).  Elohim also knew that He would have to redeem or buy them back to Himself through His own suffering and death. Thus before this world was created the PLAN was made to redeem the human race  (1 Peter 1:19-21).  

There were prophecies in the Scripture concerning the Birth and work of the Promised Redeemer, Yahushua Ha Mashiach. Among those prophecies were:

“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God [Elohim] with us”. Matthew 1: 23.

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS [YAHUSHUA]: for he shall save his people from their sins”.  Matthew 1: 21.

  “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6.

These prophecies were fulfilled four thousand years after  this world was created by Yahweh Shua (Yahushua), Himself (John 1:1-3).  At that time, two thousand years ago, Yahushua, Who was to “save His people from their sins”,   laid aside His glory and divinity in Heaven and came to this world in human flesh as a humble Babe.  He did not have a biological father as we do and carried no human DNA.  The Ruach Ha Kodesh, the Holy Spirit, chose the   virgin Mary to be the surrogate mother of  Yahushua Ha Mashiach.

At the appointed time He, the Ruach Ha Kodesh, overshadowed the virgin Mary and  placed the fertilised Ovum in her womb (Luke 1: 26-35). There in the womb of the virgin Mary the human body of the  Holy Child, Yahushua Ha Mashiach, developed and grew until maturity. The Ruach Ha Kodesh watched over her during the nine months of pregnancy and saw to His safe delivery into this very dark and sinful world.

The body which Yahushua had was that which is recorded in Hebrews 10:5.

  “Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me.”

His body became the Child which was born.  However,  the Son which inhabited the body was sent by Yahweh, the Father as we read in Isaiah 9: 6:

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given”

 At the Birth of  Yahushua  angels came down from Heaven and sang to announce and welcome His  Birth into this world. As they sang they marked the Birth of the Holy Child, Yahushua, and  welcomed  the FIRST CHRISTMAS, so that His Birth would always be remembered and not  forgotten.

MILLIONS OF GODS IN THE WORLD BUT YAHUSHUA IS THE ONLY TRUE ELOHIM!!

In this world there are millions of gods, all claiming to be true.   Elohim Yahushua Ha Mashiach, however,  is the ONLY TRUE ELOHIM. He is the Creator, Saviour and King Who laid His divinity aside and came to this sin-cursed world to save the human race (John 1:1-14).  He is the ONLY ONE  Who suffered and died for the peoples of this world.   There are millions of gods and lords whom the majority people in this world worship, including Allah, Confucius, Buddha and  Brahman  but none of them gave their lives for any of their followers.   Rather, it is their followers who gave their lives and continue to give their lives for them.   

Elohim Yahushua is the ONLY CREATOR, SAVIOUR, REDEEMER  AND SOON COMING KING. He is NOT Allah, NOT Confucius, NOT Buddha,  NOT Brahman or any of the other millions of gods  who are worshiped in this world.  Likewise, Elohim Yahweh, the Father and the Ruach Ha Kodesh, the Holy Spirit, are NOT those gods. 

The Elohim of  both Jews and the Christians,  is a Triune Elohim consisting of: Yahweh, the Father, Yahushua Ha Mashiach our Saviour and the Ruach Ha Kodesh, the Holy Spirit. These  Three Holy Beings are the ONLY true and living Elohim. They are the  ONLY true Elohim  to be worshipped praised and adored and the ONLY Elohim Who has the world in His hands and loves and cares for His children and all things which He created in this world.

Here in this world Yahushua  lived as an ordinary person for 30 years. His life was a humble one.  He knew hunger, pain and suffering just as we do and He was tempted in every point as we are tempted.  However,  HE DID NOT SIN.  Not even once (Hebrew 4:15). The life of our Saviour, Yahushua, was not an idle one  because He chose to work as a humble Carpenter. 

FIRST COMING OF YAHUSHUA _HIS SACRIFICE AND DEATH FOR ALL MANKIND!!

The first coming of Yahushua to this world was for a specific purpose. That purpose was to engage in a war with the adversary Satan (who was once in Heaven as an archangel) in order to deliver and save the human race whom he, Satan, had deceived and enslaved in sin.   Yahushua knew when His ministry in the world would begin and at the appointed time, the age of Thirty, He packed away His carpenter’s tools and began the work of ministry which He had come to this world to do. That work He did for three and a half years. 

During those last three and a half years of His life in this world, He taught the people and  did many mighty works and great miracles, including healing the sick, raising the dead, cleansing the lepers  and walking on water (Acts 10:38). At the end of those  three and a half years, He was arrested and tortured  and then crucified as a common criminal.   He was not humiliated, spat upon and brutalised for any sin He had committed because He was sinless.  He willingly  suffered all that was done to Him on behalf of the entire human race. This He willingly did so that He could buy them back or redeem them from the curse of sin, death and eternal torments in hell and the lake of fire and brimstone. 

Yahushua’s  suffering, torture and death was the ONLY WAY HE COULD PAY THE PRICE FOR THE  SINS OF THE HUMAN RACE IN ORDER TO REDEEM THEM BACK TO HIMSELF. That was the war He had to fight with Satan, who had taken dominion upon the earth and control over the human race. Satan succeeded in taking dominion away from our first parents, Adam and Eve,  through his deception. He was persuasive enough to cause them to sin  by being disobedient to the command  Elohim had given to them in the garden of Eden. 

The War Yahushua fought for our redemption was not a war fought  with swords, bullets and bombs.  It was a war which He fought in His own body (1 Peter 2:24). It was a vicious war that led to severe torture and a very cruel and disgraceful death upon a cross, meant for the vilest criminals.

DEATH DEFEATED!! YAHUSHUA ALIVE FOR EVERMORE!!

Following His death, the body of Yahushua Ha Mashiach was buried but He did not remain in the sealed and guarded sepulcher.  He had declared that no man could take His life but that He had chosen to lay it down because He had the power to lay down His life in death and that He had the power to take it up again (John 10: 17,18).  Three days later following His death and burial,  that power was displayed  as He was resurrected from the dead and came from the tomb which He has left behind for all to see.

Yahushua, our Saviour,  paid the greatest of prices for us, His children. He purchased our salvation  by suffering in His own body for us and then willingly died for each one of us. Thus He won the victory  in the War with the Adversary, Satan,  whereby He  purchased our salvation with His own precious blood. Such was His great love for us that He, the King of Glory and our Creator,  took the punishment for our sins in exchange for His own pure and perfect life.  He willing gave His life for ALL who are born into this world  so that we can be with Him and have  eternal life with Him (John 3:16).

After Yahushua was resurrected from the dead and came from the sepulchre,  He remained for Forty days in the world. During those forty days post resurrection, He was seen by His disciples and up to five hundred other persons (1 Corinthians 15:6-8).  On the fortieth day following His resurrection, while He was walking and talking with  His disciples, He ascended to His throne in Heaven (Acts 1:8-11). His ascension was not a secret and was seen by His disciples.

Yahushua chose to live as a human being when He came to this world to redeem us from the curse of sin, hell  and the second death (Revelation 20). Therefore, due to what He did for us by suffering and then giving His life for us, He has chosen to retain His humanity.   However, He is now in a glorified body which  can no longer die. Such was His great love for the children of men that He, Yahushua Ha Mashiach, the King of Glory, our Creator, chose to remain a Human Being (Luke 24: 1- 51; 1 Corinthians 15:6-8). By His grace, He will also give to His faithful followers  glorified bodies like unto His own when He returns for them. A time, which ALL the followers of  Yahushua should be looking and waiting for.   

Yahushua Ha Mashiach, our Saviour came to this world two thousand years ago and paid the FULL PRICE for our redemption. Before His suffering and torturous death, He made the Promise to His disciples and ALL who would accept Him as their Saviour: 

“ Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God [Elohim], believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also”  John 14:1-3.

Yahushua Ha Mashiach  also told us in Matthew 24:44:

“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh”.

Our Saviour, Yahushua Ha Mashiach, the  King of Glory, greatly loved us.  So great was that love for us that He gave up His throne in Heaven and came to this world as a humbly Babe in human flesh two thousand years ago.  He had come to buy us back to Himself because as sinners we could not enter the kingdom of Heaven and live with Him. Therefore, He came  and shed His precious blood for us, the blood which cleanses all who come to Him and accept Him as their personal Saviour.

YAHUSHUA PROMISED TO RETURN FOR HIS FOLLOWERS!!

It is almost two thousand years ago since Yahushua Ha Mashiach, our loving Saviour returned to His throne and dwelling place in Heaven.  Before His death He made the  Promise that He was going to build homes for us in Heaven and then He would return for us and take us to be with Him  (John 14: 1-3).

At any time now Yahushua  will fulfil His Promise and return for His people. In recent years He has  resurrected many person from the dead  including Pastor Ian Mc Cormack from New Zealand and  Pastor Daniel Ekechukwu from Nigeria. He has sent them back to this world with the message that  He is coming soon and we are to be ready to meet Him.  His coming could be any time now  and when He does, He is not coming to set up His kingdom in this present world.  Instead, He is coming for His faithful children who are praying, waiting and looking for His return.  At that time He will take them to Heaven to be with Him as it is recorded in 1 Thessalonians 4: 16, 17.  

THE FINAL JUDGMENT AND THE EARTH MADE NEW.

Heaven is not meant to be our home and after one thousand years there, Yahushua will convene the final Judgment.  At that  time  He will judge and reward all those who have rejected His love and sacrifice for them.  No one in the judgement will be saved. Instead, they will be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where their spirits will be tormented day and night forever because the spirit (spirit and soul) do not die (Luke 16:19-21).  At that time, Satan who deceived them,  will also receive his reward along with his demons when they, too, will be cast  into the lake of fire and brimstone where they will be tormented day and night forever (Revelation 20: 10).

Following the final Judgment, Yahushua will purify and cleanse the world  with fire.  He will then create the new heavens and the new earth as He has promised in Isaiah 65 :17; Revelation 21: 1. There in the earth made new,  He will live and dwell with His children whom He has redeemed. They will enjoy the blessings which Yahushua has promised in His Word, including Isaiah 65: 17, 21-15; Revelation 21:1-7, 22-27; Revelation 22.

Yahushua Ha Mashiach has done everything for us  to give us everlasting life with Him, accompanied with all the blessings He has promised. Such blessings we cannot even imagine for we are told in 1 Corinthians 2:9:

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God [Elohim] hath prepared for them that love him”.

IT WAS YOUR SALVATION AND MINE THAT BROUGHT YAHUSHUA TO THIS WORLD 2000 YEARS AGO AS A HELPLESS AND INNOCENT BABE. IT IS ALSO THE REASON  WE ARE CELEBRATING HIS BIRTH IN THIS WORLD AT HIS TIME. 

As we celebrate the Birth of Yahushua Ha Mashiach at this time, let us be ready to meet Him at His return for He loves us and  paid the price for our redemption.  Soon He  is  returning for His children.  Let us be faithful and remain in a state of readiness at all times.

IMPORTANCE OF INVITING YAHUSHUA IN OUR LIVES TO BE OUR PERSONAL SAVIOUR!!

Yahushua has lovingly and kindly done everything for our salvation.  This Salvation He has given free to everyone who will accept Him as their Saviour.   However, for us to receive His free gift of salvation, each of us MUST ACCEPT HIM FOR HIM/HERSELF. It is a PERSONAL DECISION.

My question to you is: Have you accepted King Yahushua Ha Mashiach as your precious Saviour? Should He return today, Would you be ready to be among those who will be caught up to meet Him in the air and to go and live with Him in Heaven? (1 Thessalonians 4: 16, 17). 

Yahushua, our Saviour,  has done everything in His power to save us and give us eternal life with Him. However, each of us MUST choose to accept Him  as our own personal Saviour because that is only thing He cannot do  for any of us. WE MUST PERSONALLY CHOOSE HIM FOR OURSELVES AND ASK HIM TO BE OUR SAVIOUR AND LORD.  If you have not accepted Him as your personal Saviour, He now extends His personal invitation to you so that you can do so  before it is too late to make that decision.   

If you would like to ask Yahushua to come in your  life and be your Saviour, Please repeat the following prayer:

“Gracious Yahweh, in Your Word I am told  that if I confess with thy mouth that Yahushua is my Saviour and believe in  my heart that You, Father,  raised him from the dead,  I will be saved.  (Romans 10:9).

Yahushua, I believe You are the Son of Yahweh (God) and that You came to this world and died for me. I believe that Yahweh our Father raised You from the dead.  Upon this confession I believe that I am saved.

Yahushua, I am sorry for the sins I have committed.  Please forgive me.  Today, I accept You as my personal Saviour. Please come into my life and take full control.  Please   cleanse me from all my sins and be the Adonai (Lord) of my life.

Yahushua, through Your grace I declare that I am now born again and have passed from death to eternal life.  From this day forward I am Yours.  Please baptise and fill me with the Ruach Ha Kodesh (the Holy Spirit) and please use me in Your service. 

Gracious Yahweh, my Father, I pray this prayer in Yahushua’s Name. Amen.

As we celebrate this Christmas Season, let us remember its true meaning that Yahushua Ha Mashiach is the REASON FOR THE SEASON. By His grace let us remain faithful and true to Him.  Let us  be ready to meet Him in peace at His soon return. 

By Yahushua’s grace his coming will be very soon. When He returns we shall be with our precious Saviour  forever and enjoy the ceaseless ages of eternity.  At that time the sacrifice which He made for us in coming to this world and the sufferings which He endured for us and His terrible death upon the Cross will be worth it all.  Thus with great joy and satisfaction He will live and reign with His children,  whom He has redeemed, throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity. His children will be with Him for one thousand years in Heaven, followed by the rest of eternity in the new earth which He will create (Revelation 20-22).   CHRISTMAS THEN WILL NEVER END BUT WILL BE CONTINUOUS THROUGHOUT ETERNITY!!

BY THE GRACE OF YAHUSHUA I WILL BE THERE AND WILL LIVE AND DWELL WITH HIM.  WHAT ABOUT YOU?

ALLAH IS NOT THE GOD OF THE CHRISTIANS!!

In Malaysia Christians have been told they are not to use the name of Allah for their God. From the report the Roman Catholic  Church there  wants to appeal against the ruling.  The Muslims are right because Christians and Muslims do not serve or worship the same God.

The  God (Elohim) of the Christians is the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Israel: Yahweh (the Father), Yahushua Ha Mashiach (Jesus Christ) the Saviour and the Ruach Ha Kodesh (the Holy Spirit).

Yahushua Ha Mashiach (Jesus Christ) created the world. Sadly, the human race sinned and out of His great love for the children of men, He came from Heaven to this world  two thousand years ago.  At that time He  took upon Himself  a human body and lived as an ordinary human being ((Hebrew  10:5; John 1:1-14; Matthew 1:21).

Yahushua suffered and died for the sins of the entire world  to give to everyone eternal life with Him. He rose from the dead and returned to Heaven, His throne and dwelling place.  Before He returned to Heaven He promised that He was going to prepare a place for all those who accept Him as their Saviour and Lord (Mark 14-16; John 14:1-3).  

At anytime from now  our Saviour, Yahushua Ha Mashiach,  will return to this world for His Followers to take them to Heaven for 1000 years (1 Thessalonians 4: 16,17; Revelation 20:4-6). At the end of the 1000 years, He will return to this world and convene the final judgment. At that time   He will reward those who rejected His love and sacrifice for them by casting them in the lake of fire and brimstone (Revelation 20: 7-15). 

Following the cleansing of this world with fire and brimstone; Elohim Yahushua will then create the new Heaven and the new earth as He has promised (Revelation 21, 22), where there will be no sin or the problems and sufferings of this present world.  There in the new earth and He will live and dwell with His followers forever. 

There are millions of gods in this world. However Yahushua Ha Mashiach is the ONLY CREATOR,  REDEEMER, SAVIOUR AND KING.  HE IS THE ONLY ELOHIM WHO LOVES THE CHILDREN OF MEN AND GAVE HIS LIFE TO SAVE THEM FROM THE TORMENTS OF HELL WHEN THEY DIE AND THE LAKE OF FIRE AND BRIMSTONE IN THE FINAL JUDGMENT (John 3:16).

 

MAN_A TRIPARTITE BEING_ SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY!!_ 9

OUR BODIES ARE ONLY MADE FOR THIS WORLD!!

Due to sin, our bodies are given to us to live in this world and they are all subject to death, decay and corruption (1 Corinthians 15: 50). Therefore, in our natural, mortal state our bodies cannot go to heaven to be with our Saviour or to spend eternity with Him.  Instead, they must return to the dust (depending on the method of disposal). Neither will they stand in the final judgment, for those who will be in that judgment. 

For those who are redeemed by the blood of Yahushua, at His return to this world, those who died in Him, will be resurrected and given new immortal and incorruptible bodies. Into each body Elohim will place their individual spirits (spirit and souls) which were with Him in Heaven.

At the resurrection of the righteous, they will once again be fully tripartite beings of spirit, soul and body.  Their new bodies will be glorified, immortal and incorruptible bodies which will never die again and be separated from their spirit beings. 

For the redeemed who are alive at the return of Elohim Yahushua Ha Mashiach, their bodies will also be changed into immortal and incorruptible bodies like unto the glorified bodies of Yahushua which will no longer be subject to death (1 Corinthians 15:51-54). 

At the return of Yahushua for His faithful children, He will take both the resurrected and the living to Heaven, His throne, where they will spend one thousand years with Him 

As Revelation 20:4,6 tells us:

“…they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

This is the first resurrection… ⁶ Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years”.

FATE OF THOSE WHO HAVE REJECTED YAHUSHUA

Sadly, for those who have rejected Yahushua’s love, grace and sacrifice for them, they will be resurrected a thousand years later after King Yahushua has returned for His redeemed children. Concerning this we read in Revelation 20: 5:

“But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished”.

Their resurrection, however,  will be only for a short time so that they can be in the final judgment to give an account of the lives they were blessed with.  Unlike the redeemed, they will not be resurrected in glorified immortal bodies. (Revelation 20: 7).

At their resurrection, their individual spirits and souls which were in torment will again be placed in their bodies to make them fully tripartite beings. The records of their lives (the videos) which were recorded in the books of heaven while they were alive in this world, will be brought to their attention.

Each one in that final judgment will then be judged from the things which are recorded in those books. At that time every person will have to give an account to Elohim Yahweh, Why they are in that  final Judgment and Why they rejected Yahushua, who died to give them eternal life and to save them from that fiery judgment.

No one in that final judgment, in spite of how penitent they are then, will be able to repent of their sins or find forgiveness. It will be the time for their reward along with Satan who deceived them. In those bodies in which they were resurrected, they will ALL be judged and receive their reward in the everlasting lake of  fire and brimstone which has been prepared for Satan and his angels (Revelation 20: 11-15; Matthew 25:41).

THE RUACH HA KODESH, OUR HELPER!!

Once our spirit is “born again” and the soul is “converted” to Yahushua Ha Mashiach by the power of the Ruach Ha Kodesh, He is able to have  free access to our entire being: spirit, soul and body through our spirit man. 

The Ruach Ha Kodesh can then guide and direct us who are “born again” and “converted”, in the ways of Yahushua.  He will  also be able to intercede before the Father on our behalf, as we are told in Romans 8: 26,27:

“Likewise the Spirit [the Ruach Ha Kodesh]  also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

²⁷ And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of [Elohim] God”.

Once this channel of communication is opened to the Ruach Ha Kodesh, He will help us to have a close relationship with Yahweh our Father and Yahushua our Saviour.

It is important, therefore, that   once we have given our lives to Yahushua, we allow the Ruach Ha Kodesh to continue to be in control of our spirit-beings, i.e. spirit and soul, as well as our bodies.  As we feed our physical bodies, we should also daily feed our spirit being (spirit and soul) with the Word  of our Elohim, prayer and  worship, as well as fellow-shipping with others in the body of Yahushua. That is the reason Paul admonishes us in Ephesians 5: 18-20, that we should:

“…be filled with the Spirit [the Ruach Ha Kodesh]; ¹⁹ speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; ²⁰ giving thanks always for all things unto [Elohim] God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ [Adonai Yahushua Ha Mashiach]”.

Paul also admonishes us in Hebrews 10: 25: 

 “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching”.

CHILDREN OF ELOHIM_AWAITING KING YAHUSHUA’S RETURN!!

In order to nourish our spirit being we must have  personal relationship with Yahushua we and  fully  surrender our lives to our Elohim.  Therefore, we have to allow the Ruach Ha Kodesh to have free access in our daily lives. As we do we will have the assurance that we are children of Elohim,  as Romans 8:16, tells us:

“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of [Elohim] God”.

This is what every follower of Yahushua should strive to be: children of Elohim, as by His grace we await His  return to this world for His children.  Faithful children  who have accepted Him as their personal Saviour and given Him first place in their lives. Children, who though they live in this world beset by great trials and troubles, will remain faithful to their Saviour until death, with the assurance that they will receive a crown of life (Revelation 2:10).

We are not just bodies as Satan would like us to believe in order that he can destroy us.  We are more than the bodies we live in.  We are first made in the image of Elohim and given bodies, His gifts to us. The apostle Paul knew the importance of our tripartite beings and therefore he admonishes the followers of Yahushua in

1 Thessalonians 5:23:

“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ [Adonai Yahushua Ha Mashiach]”.

By the grace of Yahushua, our Saviour, let us endeavour each day to heed the admonition of Paul, so that like him,  we can be found blameless at all times. This is very important as we await the return of Yahushua our coming King. We should also endeavour to be blameless before our Elohim because we could die and leave  this world at anytime.  Therefore, at all times we should be in a state of readiness to go and be with Yahushua Ha Mashiach in His kingdom of glory.

MAN_A TRIPARTITE BEING_ SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY!!_ 8

                        THE BODY!!

Cruden’s Concordance, Page 49 describes the body as “The physical part of man as distinct from the spiritual. 1 Samuel 31:4; Matthew 6: 22”.

The body is the physical, material part of a person,  consisting of bones, muscles, blood, ligaments, nerves, glands, brain, heart, lungs, kidneys, bladder, stomach, liver, intestines, reproductive organs, eyes, ears, mouth, arms and legs  and so much more which  Yahweh, in His infinite wisdom, placed in our mortal bodies. 

The body is the physical part of our being, which Yahweh formed and fashioned from the ground and made into the man Adam, or earth man. He then breathed into man the breath of life, so that man could become a living soul  (Genesis 2:7) or a living person. 

Of all the other beings Yahweh made, man is the only one made in His  spiritual image and given a physical body, Yahweh's special gift to each of us in this world.

Likewise, man is only one of Yahweh’s creation, of whom it is said: “fearfully  and wonderfully” made (Psalm 139:14).   Into that body, He placed  the spirit and the soul to complete the man, Adam and also Eve, Adam’s wife.  They were our first parents from whom descended the entire human race.   

Yahweh made man an intelligent being and gave him the power to choose good or evil.  He made him with  a mind,  brain and emotions so that he could  think, act and make wise and intelligent  decisions, including worshiping Him as the Creator.

The physical body is a very important part of our tripartite being.  Without it, we could not be in this world and enjoy the things our Elohim has made for us. It is unique to each person and must be cared for, nourished and fed with nourishing foods and liquids, exercised and supplied with adequate fresh air, in order that it may be healthy and serve us well in this life.

Each of us grew from a tiny egg and spermatozoa which were invisible to the naked eye.

From the time of conception we began to draw what we needed from our mothers so that our bodies which were being formed could grow healthy and well. Over a period of approximately forty weeks we were in the wombs of our mothers, where our bodies grew until we were ready to live independently outside the  womb. After our births we continued to grow to the stage we are at present.

For those of us who have fully grown, we must still feed and nourish and take care of our bodies, the earthly houses for our spirit beings. Failure to nourish and adequately care for our bodies will shorten our lives in this world. 

Our bodies are Yahweh's gifts to us in this world. It is the physical part of our tripartite being which enables us  to enjoy the things of our Elohim in this world, do and achieve small or great things and fulfil the purposes for which we were brought into the world.  Our bodies are  the vehicles of our spirit-being  and soul-being.

In this life our bodies are very important to us because they are our earthly houses and give us the legal right to be in this world.  Without our physical bodies, we would be spirit beings and there would have been no need for Yahweh to create this wonderful and beautiful world. He created this world for the habitation of the human race, as we read in  Psalms 115:16:

“The heaven, even the heavens, are [YAHWEH's ] the LORD's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men”.

We have further confirmation of this in Isaiah 45:18:

`“For thus saith [YAHWEH] the LORD that created the heavens; [Elohim] God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited”. 

It is for this reason, Yahweh gave the command in Genesis 1: 28:

“Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth”.

                 

While we are in this world, our bodies dictate to us our needs. Thus when we are hungry a message is sent from the brain to the stomach informing us that nourishment is needed for the body.

If our bodies need to be rid of the waste products, the appropriate  message is sent to the organs of elimination.  Likewise, the body needs rest so that it can repair itself, and in the case of babies and children,  sleep is needed for growth. Therefore, if we are tired they demand sleep. If we are cold, the message comes for extra warmth, or if we are hot, the message is sent to cool the body.  The body reacts accordingly and sends out the necessary message when in pain or suffering ailments, so that the  condition can be dealt with. Thus while we are alive, the body is constantly functioning internally and externally.

Our bodies are Elohim’s gifts to us and are  “fearfully” and “wonderfully” made (Psalm 139: 14). The greatest invention of men, including the  most sophisticated computers cannot put together or make a living limb or organ in the body. Men have made replicas of the various parts of the body but not living ones.  Due to advancement of science and technology they are able to  repair the organs, etc. when it is necessary to do so, including the growing of tissue cells from live cells for various reasons.

 

In Job 10: 11, 12, Job  gives a good definition about the body. He wrote: 

“Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.  Thou hast granted me life and favour”.

Due to the sin nature with which every person born in this world, the body responds according to the cause or need including joy and laughter. It also feels pain and sorrow is expressed.  Due to that same sin nature, our bodies get sick, old, deteriorate and die. Death to the body could come at anytime, from as early as in the womb in the form of abortion or still birth.  After birth death is sure and could occur at anytime up to very old age.

DESIRES AND CRAVINGS OF THE BODY!!

Due to  the physical natures of our bodies they often create strong desires and cravings which are not always brought under control. The desires and cravings of the body can be so great that it dominates the rest of the being, thereby  satisfying its various appetites. 

This is especially so if there are addictions to which it has become a slave.  The cravings of the body without  the  control of the Ruach Ha Kodesh, will always override or overpower the spirit and the soul.  That is the reason the apostle  Paul says in  Romans 7: 21-24: 

“I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of [Yahweh] God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death”.

The apostle Peter, knowing the constant conflict between the body and the soul admonished:

“Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul”. 1 Peter 2:11.

Because of the nature of the body, we should daily beseech to the Ruach Ha Kodesh, Who is our Elohim here upon earth, to help us to bring our bodies under His divine control. That is what  the apostle Paul did and made him to write:  

“But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway”.  1 Corinthians 9:27.

It must also be noted that the physical body without the spirit and the soul, is only a third of man and cannot function as a normal intelligent being.  As humans, Yahweh blessed us with  physical bodies,  unlike angels who are spirit beings and who do not possess physical bodies, as we do. 

As human-beings we are very unique in Yahweh’s creation and were specially made  by Him.  There is no other in this world, or other worlds,  like us whom our loving Elohim has so “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). 

OUR BODIES ARE MORTAL AND CORRUPTIBLE!!

Our bodies were meant to be immortal and incorruptible because death was NOT in Yahweh’s plan for His children. Sadly, Adam and his wife, Eve (our first parents), sinned and changed that privilege. Their sin caused  all their descendants to be born in sin and shaped in iniquity (Psalm 51: 5). 

Our time upon earth in our physical bodies is very limited because our  bodies are temporary and are given to us only in this life. Due to our sinful natures, decay and death set in and limit  the time we are in this world.  David said that our days are approximately 70 years (Psalm 90: 10), though Elohim tells us in Genesis 6:3:

“My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years”. 

Today the  life span of  man is drastically reduced from the 120 years which our Elohim has given; due to sicknesses, diseases, accidents, disasters, murders, old age, etc.

Our bodies are meant to be the Yahweh’s temples, in which the Ruach Ha Kodesh lives and does His work through us:   It is for this reason the apostle Paul admonishes the followers of Yahushua:

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of [Elohim] God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto [Yahushua] God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of [Yahweh] God”. Romans 12:1,2.

Paul also wrote in  Romans 3: 16,17:

  

“Know ye not that ye are the temple of [Elohim] God, and that the Spirit of [Yahweh] God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God [Yahweh], him shall [Yahweh] God destroy; for the temple of [Yahweh] God is holy, which temple ye are”.

In addition king Solomon tells us in Ecclesiastes 11: 10:

“Put away evil from thy flesh”.

Our Elohim had a plan in making us human beings with physical bodies, unlike the angels who are fully spirit.  Therefore, we should love our bodies and take good care of them.  This will enable us be in good health, enjoy the  gift of life and live our   allotted time and fulfil the purpose for which we were born into this world.
