The Elohim of
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the only true Elohim, has blessed us to see another
New Year. The years have come and gone since He created the world and each year
has made its mark on history. What of this New Year of 2014? What mark will it make on history? Will it be
the year when our Saviour, Adonai Yahushua,
returns for His children who are anxiously waiting for that great and glorious Day?
This New Year, 2014, started immediately to make its
mark on history by the severe weather in some countries. This includes the heavy snow storms and freezing sub-zero conditions
across the fifty states of the USA; the extreme heat wave in parts of Australia and the heat wave and fires in South America. Included also are the heavy rains, winds
and floods which affected the United Kingdom.
The terrible wars in
Syria, the Central African Republic and South
Sudan, were carried over from 2013, as
well as the unrest in Egypt and Lebanon along with the bombings in Russia and the
daily bombings in Iraq which are claiming so many lives. There are also the protests and civil disobedience in many countries, including the Ukraine, Bangladesh, Thailand and Cambodia. In
those countries, the people have taken to the streets to make their voices of
dissatisfaction heard. The persecutions
and massacres of many Christians in many
lands, including Egypt, Syria and Nigeria have also spilled over to the New Year as the terrorists continue wage
terror.
TIME OF TROUBLE!!
The tragedies and
disasters do not only apply to this New Year.
Over recent years there have been untold disasters in the world. These include the bombings of the World Trade
Centre and other places in the USA and other countries; the great earthquake
and tsunami in south east Asia in 2004; the
massive tsunami in Japan in 2011 and the severe fires in parts of the world. From what we are
seeing and observing, the troubles, the tragedies and the great disasters have
continued along with man’s inhumanity to man. The Question is: How much worse
can these hostilities and disasters get? Will they become any better? Sadly, conditions will only get worse. Concerning this we read in Daniel 12:1:
“ and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there
was a nation”.
This time of trouble recorded
in Daniel 12, would precede the return of Yahushua to this world. Hence in the Gospels, Yahushua tells us about the troubles which
would be upon the Planet prior to His return.
Concerning this we read in Luke 21: 10,11:
“Then said he [Yahushua] unto them, Nation shall rise against nation,
and kingdom against kingdom: 11and great earthquakes shall be in
divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs
shall there be from heaven”.
In Luke 21:24, Yahushua says:
“Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the
Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled”.
Yahushua also said in
Luke 21: 25,26:
“And there shall be signs in the
sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations,
with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts
failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on
the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken”.
In Matthew 24 and
Mark 13, are similar signs which Yahushua gave pertaining
to the end of the world and His return to
this world.
In addition to these
signs which are upon the world, are numerous other signs in nature. These include
erupting volcanoes, tornadoes, devastating floods, sea surges, storms, typhoons, cyclones, artic conditions across the fifty states of
the USA, leading to freezing conditions, heavy
snow and ice. There are many other troublesome
conditions prevalent upon the earth including the economic crises, wars, the
refugee crises in some countries, including Syria and the Central African Republic as people try to escape the raging wars.
WHAT DO THESE
HAPPENINGS MEAN?
The Questions we need
to ask ourselves are: What do all these happenings mean? Do they have
any bearing on this New Year of 2014?
We can turn to what
our loving Saviour, Yahushua Ha Mashiach, had to say about these
happenings. Toward the end of His Ministry
and before He gave His life on the Cross for His children, His disciples wanted
to know What would be the signs of His return to this world and of the end of
the world or Age. Therefore, they asked
Him about the signs which would precede His return.
Yahushua gave them
the signs which would be in the world before His return. One of the main signs and
Key to His return is recorded in Luke 21: 24.
It says:
“Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the
Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled”.
That sign was
fulfilled in 1967 during the Six Day War between Israel and the Islamic nations who had spoken
publicly of driving her into the sea.
For almost two thousand years the old city of Jerusalem, which was built by King David, was under Gentile rule. During the Six Day War in 1967, Jerusalem miraculously went back under the rule of the
Jews. From that time the Road Map was
drawn up to return the lands captured by Israel in return for peace. It was called “Land for Peace”. As a result among the lands given up by Israel was the Sinai Peninsula which was given back to Egypt; Jordan to the Jordanians and Gaza to the Palestinians in 2004. Today, the pressure is on for the
Israelis to hand over the rest of the lands
which they captured during that Six Day War. Most importantly is the demand for
them to give east Jerusalem to the Palestinians to be the capital of
their state, the state of Palestine.
DETERMINATION THAT THE
PALESTINIAN STATE SHOULD BE ESTABLISHED.
Many USA Presidents during their tenure of office worked
to have east Jerusalem given to the Palestinians in order that
the state of Palestine would be fully
established. However, the old city of east Jerusalem remains under the rule of the Israelis. Since the
incumbent president, President Barack Obama, went into office he has been
working very hard to see that the Palestinians have their state, with east Jerusalem as their Capital. As soon as he entered office during his first
term, he began the process to have east Jerusalem given to the Palestinians. Due to his swift action he was awarded the
Nobel Peace Price. In spite of his
determination to have the old city of Jerusalem given to the Palestinians, his desire was
not accomplished during his first term in office.
Before President Barack Obama left to campaign for his second term in office, he instructed Israel to go back to the pre-1967 borders, which
meant she is to surrender the lands which she still occupies. East Jerusalem
is part of those lands. Upon his return to his second term in office in
2013, he appointed Mr John Kerry as Secretary
of State. He was sworn into office on
February 1, 2013 and immediately he began to work with the leaders of Israel
and the Palestine to get the talks going for the handing over of the lands
which Israel still occupies, including old east Jerusalem. Since February1, 2013 up to the beginning of January 2014, Secretary
of State, John Kerry, he made ten visits
to the Middle East to get matters finalised for the handing
over of the lands.
Secretary of State
John Kerry is determined to see that as
soon as possible the Palestinian state is fully established with east Jerusalem as their nations capital. From the report it is his desire that the Palestinian
state is fully established in 2014.
The Question is: Will the Obama Administration succeed in
establishing the Palestinian state with old east Jerusalem as her capital during his tenure of Office and especially during 2014?
It has been reported over the media that if Jerusalem is not handed to the Palestinians over
soon, they, the Palestinians, will march into Jerusalem and
forcefully take over the city later on in 2014.
WHAT DID ELOHIM
YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH SAY ABOUT JERUSALEM?
In Luke 21: 24, Yahushua clearly stated:
“Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the
Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled”.
Yahushua went on to
say that after the time of the Gentiles ruling Jerusalem was fulfilled or ended, it would be
followed by a great event. Concerning that event He said in Luke 21: 27:
“And then shall they see the Son of man [He, Yahushua Ha Mashiach] coming
in a cloud with power and great glory”.
Yahushua then gave
the admonition:
“ And when these things [the signs He gave, especially that of
east Jerusalem] begin to come to pass, then look up, and
lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh”. Luke 21: 28.
ARE THE GREAT
DISASTERS HARBINGERS?
This New Year 2014 dawned
with great disasters around the world, including here in the UK, which has been having severe storms, floods and sea surges on a weekly basis over the past weeks. The country of the United States has been having severe snow storms, arctic blasts leading to extreme freezing
conditions and terrible wind chill with up to 50 degrees below zero in some parts. It has been reported that those
freezing conditions are the worst the USA has experienced since the 19th Century.
It was reported that
the freezing conditions spread across the entire fifty states of the USA. The extreme weather conditions shut down many
areas including airports, train stations and other forms of
transportation. There are also storms and tornadoes as well as fires raging in California. In addition to present disasters have
been the many disasters which have been occurring in the USA on a on a regular basis. Among such
disasters were the prolonged raging
fires in California, severe massive tornadoes, storms and
floods. While North America is having icy conditions, it was reported
that South America has been experiencing
severe heat waves and fires.
Many countries and
islands have been experiencing severe disasters. No place is immune to these terrible
disasters. The Question is: Are these
great disasters, wars, other great calamities,
including the mighty earthquakes and tsunamis in some parts of the world and in particular,
the USA, harbingers to warn us that the coming
of Elohim Yahushua is at hand?
There has been a
pattern in the USA that whenever the USA
had her summits for Israel to give up the land that she captured in 1967, or
when Israel has given up lands; or when she has pressured Israel to give up
lands as she is now doing, that there are great disasters upon her
country. Those disasters include
Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005 shortly after Gaza was given to the Palestinians. They were the
most severe hurricanes to have hit the USA up
to that time. Those two hurricanes were
horrific and brought about great destruction on the states which felt the brunt of them, especially the states of Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. There was also the great disaster in the Gulf States in the USA when the newest and most modern Oil Rigs exploded
in April 2010.
The severe disaster of the Oil Rigs happened
shortly after the incumbent US President was displeased with the Prime
Minister of Israel. On that occasion in March
2010, President Obama walked out on PM
Netanyahu in the White house because He had not brought the drawn up map to show the handing over of east Jerusalem to the Palestinians. Now there are the heavy snow and freezing conditions
over the country such as she never experienced before. Likewise, Israel and Gaza, as well as other Middle Eastern countries
had severe snow and storms in recent weeks.
The severe arctic blasts, freezing conditions and heavy snow in the USA in January while the Secretary of State,
John Kerry was in Israel holding talks to finalise the handing over of the lands including east
Jerusalem which she captured in 1967.
The Questions are: Are
these unusual severe weather conditions, especially in USA and the Middle East, Elohim’s displeasure and judgments to thwart talks between the Israelis and the
Palestinians? Are they also judgments upon the USA because of her sustained pressure on Israel to give up more lands and
in particular east Jerusalem which He, Elohim Yahweh, gave back miraculously to
the Jewish nation in 1967??
The main purpose
of the Secretary
of State, John Kerry, to the
Middle East in early January was to wrap up the handing over of the lands to
the Palestinians because he is
determined to carry out President Barack Obama’s wish that the Palestinian state
should be fully established during 2014
or soon after.
The Question is: Will
Secretary of State, John Kerry, accomplish what previous USA Secretaries of
State failed to accomplish for their Presidents during their tenure of office? .
WILL JERUSALEM BECOME
THE CAPITAL OF THE PALESTINIAN STATE?
The next question
is: Will Elohim Yahushua Ha Mashiach fulfil the
prophecy He made in Luke 21: 24, 27?
“Jerusalem shall be trodden down
of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled….And then shall
they see the Son of man coming in a
cloud with power and great glory”.
From what is
recorded in this prophecy, JERUSALEM
WILL NOT RETURN TO GENTILE RULE. It means
that in spite of what President Obama and His Secretary of State, John Kerry, are
doing to have Jerusalem given to the Palestinians as their Capital and
likewise what the United Nations and the
European Union are doing to force Israel to give up Jerusalem, Yahushua will first
fulfil His promise and return in “power and great glory” before Jerusalem is given over to the Palestinians to be the
capital of their state. It is therefore
unlikely that Jerusalem which “is the city of the great King” (Matthew 5: 35)
will never again be under the rule of Gentiles as Yahushua Himself said.
What else did
Yahushua say about the signs pertaining to His return? In Luke 21: 28, He said:
“And when these things begin to come to
pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh”.
YAHUSHUA ALWAYS GIVES
WARNINGS THROUGH HIS PROPHETS!!
Before Elohim Yahweh does any thing major in the world, He first speaks
to the peoples through His servants, the prophets, as He did in the times past (Amos
3:7). He did this to warn the people so
that they would have an opportunity to be saved from the forthcoming doom as He
did before He destroyed this world with water in the time of Noah. In these times He has also done the same to
warn the world of His return and to give the people an opportunity to be saved
and to escape the terrible judgment ahead of this world. Some of those whom Yahushua has used to give the warnings of His return,
are people whom He has raised from the dead and sent back to this world with
messages that He is coming soon and that the people are to be ready for His return.
Among those whom
Yahushua has given messages about is return was the late revered Israeli
Kabbalist, Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri. It is reported that Yahushua appeared to him in 2003 and told him that
He, Yahushua Ha Mashiach, is the true
Messiah and gave Him His Hebrew name, Yahushua. It is also reported that He
told Rabbi Kaduri that He would return shortly after the late former Prime
Minister, Ariel Sharon, dies. It is
reported that the Rabbi wrote down the message and sealed it. He then left instructions that the envelop
was not to be open until a year after his death. He died in 2006 at the age of about 108.
WILL ELOHIM YAHUSHUA
RETURN AFTER ARIEL SHARON DIES??
Ex-Prime Minister
Ariel Sharon had a stroke on January 4, 2006 and for the past eight years he was
in a coma. He died on January 11, 2014.
The Question is: Will
Elohim Yahushua indeed return for His people now that Mr Ariel Sharon has died?
If so, Will He return in 2014?
The other Question of
Interest is: Will He allow the old city of east Jerusalem to become the capital
of the Palestinian state? Or will He fulfil His prophecy in Luke 21:27?
“And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory”.
Yahushua is Elohim
and none of His words has ever failed. We cannot set a time or date for His return,
however, it is important that we are
ready at all times for His return because He will surely return. Therefore, it is
important that we heed His admonition in Matthew 24: 44:
“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the
Son of man cometh”.
It is important that
we heed the admonitions given to us by our loving Saviour Yahushua. This will
ensure that with the help of the Ruach Ha Kodesh, we will be ready at all times
for the grand and glorious return of our Saviour, Yahushua Ha Mashiach of
Nazareth for His people. Being ready to meet Yahushua is important whether
He returns during 2014 or any other year.
His return will bring to pass that which is written in Daniels 12:1-3:
“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which
standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble,
such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that
time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in
the book. 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the
earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting
contempt. 3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness
of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for
ever and ever”.
ELOHIM YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH WILL RETURN!!
Our Saviour, Yahushua
Ha Mashiach, WILL RETURN to this world at anytime now. All the signs He gave and more, are now upon
the world. In addition, the whole world
is in turmoil from the great disasters which are upon it. Likewise, there are the terrible wars, the immense human suffering,
the cleansing of Christians in many lands and the great lack of godliness that
is in many countries. These are just a
few of the things which are prevalent in the world.
By His grace our blessed Saviour and coming King, Yahushua, wants to save everyone from Hell
when they die and from everlasting
torment in the lake of fire and
brimstone in the final judgment. His
saving grace and salvation is free and is available to everyone. Let us, therefore, heed
His admonition, take seriously the very
unusual happenings in the world and be
ready and waiting for His grand and glorious return whether it will be in 2014
or any other year. (1 Thessalonians 4:
13-17; Matthew 24: 27, 30,31; 1 Corinthians 15: 50-54; Revelation 20: 4-6) .
By Elohim Yahushua’s grace at
His return those who are His faithful followers will have nothing to fear for
He will take them to Heaven to be with Him. There they will be with Him for one thousand years (Revelation
20: 4-6; 21,22, Isaiah 65: 17).
THE FINAL JUDGMENT!!
Yahushua will then convene the final judgment in which He will judge
the peoples and mete out their reward according to their works. No one in that final judgment will be saved
in His eternal kingdom. All will have their part in the lake of fire and
brimstone where they will join Satan and his demonic host and there they will
be tormented with him (Revelation 20: 7-15).
THE NEW EARTH!!
Following the final judgment, Yahushua will create the new heavens and
the new earth which He has promised. With great joy and happiness Yahushua will
live with His redeemed children in that new earth. Concerning the new earth, it
is recorded in Revelation 21: 1-4:
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the
first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw
the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from [Elohim] God out of heaven,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the
tabernacle of [Elohim] God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they
shall be his people, and [Elohim] God himself shall be with them, and be their [Elohim]
God. 4 And [Yahushua] God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and
there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there
be any more pain: for the former things are passed away”.
Then in Revelation 21: 22-27, we are also told:
“22 And I saw no temple therein: for [Adonai Elohim] the Lord God
Almighty and the Lamb [Yahushua Ha Mashiach] are the temple of it. 23 And the city had
no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of [Elohim]
God did lighten it, and the Lamb [Yahushua] is the light thereof.
“24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the
light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into
it. 25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there
shall be no night there. 26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of
the nations into it. 27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing
that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but
they which are written in the [Yahushua’s] Lamb’s book of life.
In that beautiful new earth which Yahushua will make, all will be holy and pure and sin will never again
blight or mar that glorious new world. There our Saviour Yahushua and our heavenly
Father, Yahweh, will live and dwell with those who are saved by His matchless
love and grace. The sacrifice which Yahushua made when He suffered and died for
the human race will then be worth it all (Isaiah 53: 11) for He will be with
His people and will live and dwell with them.
The Question I pose to you is:
Are you ready and waiting for the return of your Saviour, Adonai and
King, Elohim Yahushua Ha Mashiach? He is
the ONLY ONE WHO LOVED YOU AND DIED IN YOUR STEAD TO GIVE YOU EVERLASTING LIFE
WITH HIM. He did all this free of cost
for you and me.
My final Questions to you are: Have you accepted Yahushua Ha Mashiach
as your personal Saviour from sin? Are
you ready to meet Him in peace and to live with Him forever?

If you have not asked Yahushua, who love you and died for you, to be your Saviour and you would like to
do so, Please pray this prayer and ask Him to come into your life and be your
Adonai (Lord) and Saviour:
Gracious
Yahweh, in Your Word I am told that if I
confess with thy mouth that Yahushua is my Saviour and believe in my heart that You, Father, raised him from the dead, that I will be
saved. (Romans 10:9).
Yahushua, I believe You are the Son of Yahweh (God) and that You came
to this world and died for me. I believe that Yahweh our Father raised You from
the dead. Upon this confession I believe
that I am saved.
Yahushua, I am sorry for the sins I have committed. Please forgive me. Today, I accept You as my personal Saviour.
Please come into my life and take full control.
Please cleanse me from all my sins and be the Adonai
(Lord) of my life.
Yahushua, I declare through Your grace
I am now born again and have passed from death to eternal life. From this day forward I am Yours. Please baptise and fill me with the Ruach Ha
Kodesh (the Holy Spirit) and please use me for Your service.
Gracious Yahweh, my Father, I pray this prayer in Yahushua’s Name.
Amen.

Please be faithful and live closely to your Adonai, Yahushua Ha Mashiach. Let Him through the Ruach Ha Kodesh instruct
you, lead you and guide you always until we see our loving Saviour coming in
the clouds of heaven with power and great glory (1 Thessalonians 4: 16,17; Luke
9:26).
